Plagued by loss and regret, Blake McCord can barely hold his life together. He drinks too much, his tourist operation is going down the pan, and he owes big money to a nasty little homunculus called Grubs Daily. Blake’s goblin pilot suggests they make a life for themselves far out of Daily’s reach. But then a mysterious elf visits Blake’s hanger promising to solve his financial woes – just so long as he revives his legendary skills as a huntsman. The only problem is, her proposed destination is the magical world of Terevell, a protected and very dangerous wilderness.
